What We Do

Software is a system of tissue regeneration using Shockwave Therapy. Software low intensity, unfocused energy is delivered via our patented parabolic reflector applicator in the form of parallel waves. Software technology offers the ONLY UNFOCUSED SHOCK WAVE available today.

What We Do I Shock Wave Therapy Isn’t New

  • 1950S

First systematic investigations for he use of shock waves in medicine

  • 1968

German researching with shock waves and biological tissue in animals

  • 1971

Haesler and Kiefer report first in vitro disintegration of a kidney stone with shock waves without direct contact to the stone – lithotripsy

  • 1985

First experiments investigating the influence of shock waves on bones

  • Early 1990S

First published reports using shock wave therapy on calcific tendinitis. Further investigations lead to successful treatment of epicondylitis and heel spur with reported success rates between 70% and 80%

  • 2004

SoftWave Technical Service, LLC was founded as a research and development company and is a direct descendant of lithotripsy

What to expect

The procedure averages 10-15 minutes but may be longer depending on treatment area. A gel is applied to the surface area to be treated. The applicator produces pulses as the clinician moves around the treatment area. During therapy, communication with the provider is necessary to identify treatment areas and monitor progress.

Advanced technology helps more clients by successfully turning on the body’s natural healing process.

  • Non-invasive
  • No anesthesia or numbing creams needed
  • No side effects
  • Same day procedure
